A trip to Temple Square:

 
 
 
 
 Two of my favorite guys just hangin' out:

 We love the Christmas pageant at the family Christmas party!

 We had three angels this year, ...

one camel, ...

 and one shepherd (who was playing on the floor instead of abiding in the fields).

 Tyler relaxed with our neighbors at the ward Christmas dinner.

 The annual gingerbread-house-making event was a hit.

 Aren't these boys handsome?

The kids rigged the angel to fly above the Nativity scene.

 
 And they put some extra-special presents under the tree.

 They very much enjoyed getting each other gifts this year.

 
The kids had a lot of parties for their animals after Christmas.
 
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit...

 and brought a fish tank!

 
 We had lots of fun shopping for fish.

 

 
We rang in the new year at our 7:00pm "Midnight Party."  Here's to 2014!

Thanksgiving Trip, November 2013

We rented an RV and took a quick Thanksgiving cruise!

 Mary brought her hamster and bobble-head turtle.

 We camped by the Manti Temple.

 
 
 We spent some time there and in Heber City looking for ancestors in the cemeteries.

 
 
 The kids had lots of fun seat belted at the table as we drove around.

 

 And we also stayed in Grandma and Grandpa's driveway!  What a holiday!

Tyler's Baby Blessing, November 2013

Because of an email malfunction, most of the family didn't receive our invitation to Tyler's blessing. We were glad to have Grandma and Grandpa Luke with us.  It was a special day.

(Yes, Sarah often gets ready and asks to go swimming in November.)

In the blessing, David said that Tyler would be "a light and a joy in our home."

That is certainly true.
