We went to see Grandpa Edstrom while Grandma Joy was here.  Thanks so much for coming, Grandma!

The kids were pretty insulted on David's behalf that his boss "made him" have his birthday in Africa.  They were excited to throw a belated birthday party for him when he got home.

"Tiki Ba Ba" had a bath in the sink.  Every baby should try it at least once.

 
 
 We had a lot of fun with the neighbors, especially since the weather was so nice.
 

 
 

After Thanksgiving, the extended family took a trip to the zoo.

 
 
 

Halloween, October 2014

We got to host the Luke Family Halloween Party this year!

We had lots of fun games, pumpkin "carving," and food.

After we dropped David off at the airport for Africa, we went to the pumpkin patch.

The kids found the golden pumpkin hidden in the maze.

We took this picture to show Dad our pumpkins.

Principal Prusse at Halloween Parade:

Grandma Joy came to spend Halloween week with us!  She was supposed to have surgery, but it was canceled because of an insurance problem, so she got to hang out with us instead of lying in bed!

Austin made his pumpkin costume.

Anna's teacher, Monsieur Pessin, was Jabba the Hutt.  Austin said some people in his class thought M. Pessin was a peanut.  Mary and Anna went by so quickly we couldn't get their pictures.

After school, we went trick or treating at Elizabeth's retirement home.

Then we went to an amazing Halloween party at the Ruggles'.

Afterwards, we went to four houses to trick or treat, which was the perfect way to end the night.

Anna's birthday, October 2014

Anna turned eight in October!  For her birthday, we took one last trip to Hollywood Connection before it went out of business.

 
 
Grandma and Grandpa Luke brought a special bear necklace and a very sparkly white shirt.

 She requested an almond cake for her party.
