July 2015

We finally hiked the Y!  Mom got to hike it twice since we left our keys on the Y and Dad's knee was hurt....

 Another hike to grotto falls:
After classes in the park:
 Austin did flag football:
Mary and Anna crafted:
And Sarah did "balls of fun:"
Wait a minute.... I thought you kids were taking a shower!
Mary is such a good big sister:
We went to the Pioneer Day parade:
We also stayed in a cabin with two giant bunk beds:

Mary and Anna took a pajama walk while the little guys went to sleep:

The water was muddy, but we made friends with some birds:

Then, Dad rented a boat and took us tubing on Bear Lake!!

 Tyler hated his life jacket...
but he said yes to this ride!
 Austin turned seven!

He requested pumpkin pie in July!  Austin brings so much fun and happiness to our home.  We are so grateful for this kid.
Grandma Joy and Auntie Gayle came to visit for the Edstrom Reunion.  The kids put on a recital for them:
Then Mom took the four big kids tent camping at the reunion while Dad and Tiki slept in comfort at home:
The kids put on a skit about a candy store.
The kids found Snella the Snail under the tent in the morning and adopted her. She got out of her shoebox one day and disappeared.  Nearly a year later, we found her hibernating behind the fish tank, still alive.  Dad helped Sarah take her to school, where she now lives in the bushes by the kindergarten classroom.
Fun with Dad:
Anna's class said good-bye to Mrs. Mason:
Grandma and Grandpa left for a mission to the San Diego Mormon Battalion Visitors' Center.  We are so proud of them!

And we had to get a picture with the robot at the FBO!

May 2015

We love homemade play dough!
I helped with Mary's Mountain Man Rendezvous at school.  Thanks, Aunt Carrie, for the pioneer costume--it was a hit!

Playing pioneer games.

A visit from "Mountain Man" (really a Mountain Woman):

Austin's class put on a program and sang French songs.  Grandma and Grandpa got to come!

Dad serenaded us when Grandma and Grandpa came to dinner before leaving on their mission.
