Summer fun

Here's a little of what we've been doing this summer:

The children enjoyed a visit to the children's museum.
Daddy put on a play for the girls.
Austin showed off his musical skills.
Anna took everyone for a "drive" in the firetruck.
We go to "the slides" a lot.
Taking our bikes to the riding trail
Feeding ducks at the farm
"We're swimming in chocolate milk!" It took two tubs of clean water to wash all of the "chocolate milk" off afterwards.
A day at the park

Our "baby" is almost two!

The tooth fairy came!

Mary lost her first tooth eating watermelon on Saturday at a primary dinner! She was sad for a minute because it hurt a little, but then she got very excited. "Are you sooo proud of me, Mom?" she asked. She couldn't wait to call her grandmas and tell them the good news.
Here's the tooth. She couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come and had a hard time sleeping. She said, "I want the tooth fairy to see my pony tails, so I want to keep them in all night. "
Anna is showing off her full set of teeth. The snakes are from arts and crafts class. Their names are Root Beer and Watermelon.

Easter

Our neighborhood Easter egg hunt was a hit.
Our egg hunt in the playroom with cousins was even more fun.
The kids made bunny hats with Grandma, but Mary said, "I don't want to smash my curlers!"
Austin loved Easter morning.
We had fun coloring Easter eggs (note Anna's fingers).
Grandma's Easter bread bunny was half eaten by the time we found our camera!

Mary's birthday

Here's our princess. She is very excited to be five so she can go to kindergarten. Grandma made her a beautiful heart cake. I will post a picture later.
We made "fairy houses" (cupcakes) and magic wands with cousins.
Here are the kids playing with some of Mary's presents:
Mary is a delightful girl. We are very happy to have her in our family.

February

We finally rode on the train!
The girls were saying, "Thomas! Thomas!" Anna brought her Thomas the Tank Engine book along for the ride.
We went exploring downtown between trains.
Mary went to a "doggie party."
We love the merry-go round!
Austin enjoyed his first carousel ride.
