Christmas is more fun every year as the children get older.
We had fun exploring Temple Square at Christmastime.Sarah loved dressing up at the Children's Museum.
Austin's joy school went to the moon.
At the family Christmas dinner this year, we had three angels...
and one king.
The kids love acting out the nativity.Anna's kindergarten class performed some Christmas songs, including "L'as Tu Vu" in French.
Daddy even got to come!
We took a day trip to Logan and ate at the university.
The girls found a life-size nativity there.
Sarah was given lots of rides on the sled this year. She loves being outside.
The kids enjoy making gingerbread houses each year.
The kids couldn't wait to have everyone the open presents they got for each other this year.
Mommy was up very late on Christmas Eve sewing Barbie clothes, but it was all worth it when Mary said, "[Gasp!] Pretty!"
Daddy had fun figuring out Austin's toys with him.
Sarah cuddled with her pillow pet.
When Grandma and Grandpa Luke and Grandma Mary came over, we had a little Christmas recital. Mary and Anna played songs on the piano they had learned at piano lessons. We also sang Christmas songs in French and Spanish.
This was the best part of our Christmas day.
On New Year's Eve, we set the clocks forward five hours (yes, five!) and had a party at 7:00pm with Martinelli's and party horns. After the little kids went to bed, Mary and Anna and I painted our nails and put on some beauty masks. Unfortunately, Mary had a little reaction to hers, and her face itched for a couple days. Sorry, sweetie!
